"I called Anthony and within a day, he was at my house giving me an estimate on painting my master bedroom. Since I wanted a color scheme that consisted of gold and maroon paint, Anthony had good suggestions on how I could incorporate those two colors together very tastefully. He gave me an estimate on Monday, I bought the paint and by Wednesday the painters were there. In one day, they painted my large master bedroom with vaulted ceilings. The next day they painted the trim and doors (both sides). I even had a french door that leads into my garden room that I had not originally talked to Anthony about painting, but they did that door too. He took out paneling in our back room, painted, put in base boards, put in an aluminum patio cover through a sub contractor. Also matched and replaced some vinyl siding on our outdoor wall. Anthony Barela came to give estimate. He had pictures of previous work and what the patio would look like when they were done. His brother oversaw all the work. He reminded us that the coupons were for walls up to 10 ft and that the 2 rooms we wanted painted had peaks higher than that. So he said it would be 50.00 more. On Wednesday, June 12, Roland and 2 co-workers showed up sharply at 8:00 a.m. They proceeded to touch up any marks on the walls and edges, and tape off anything that wasn't to be painted. “This is the second time that I have chosen Anthony Barela, owner of Affordable Renovation Services. This renovation was a dual project: re-siding the home's exterior and completely remodeling the eat-in kitchen. The exterior Hardy siding to include R3 insulation is a true energy saver. All fascia boards were replaced with pressure treated wood prior to re-siding. The detached garage received a new roof, additional joists, and all rotting boards were replaced prior to re-siding. Special credit to the siding team, who worked from dawn to dusk without stopping for 2+ weeks - excellent job! The kitchen project was a complete demo with new floor tile, new patio French doors, doubling the panty size, upper and lower custom cabinets, custom built-in hutch with glass doors, granite counter tops, backsplash, and a dozen little details that are necessary with a kitchen reno. Everyone from plumbers to electricians to carpenters and painters (Ernest is the best in the business!) gave this small eat-in kitchen a fabulous facelift.
